George Lanam,
45, Succumbs
Nashville, Ind., April 21 – Geoge C. Lanam, 45, died Tuesday morning at the home of his mother two miles northeast of Helmsburg. He was the second child of a family of five sons and two daughters of Solomon Lanam, who died 20 years ago. In 1914 he was married to Nora Lawver, and two children were born to the couple, one of which, Mary, survives. Eight years later he married Mrs. Samaria White, who also survives. Mr. Lanam belonged to the Odd Fellows, Modern Woodmen and Red Men lodges. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

Nashville, April 22 – Funeral services for George C. Lanam, who died at the home of his mother, Mrs. James Settles, two miles north of Helmsburg, yesterday morning, were held at the Goshen church, this morning at 10 o’clock. The services were in charge of the Odd Fellows and Red Men, of this place.
