Grace C. Brutcher
Grace Casolare "Gracie" Brutcher, 89, formerly of 8353 Sandra Ave., Cicero, died Monday at Buckley Landing in North Syracuse. Born in Syracuse, she lived in Cicero 30 years and moved to Buckley Landing in 2000. She was a charter member and had been the oldest living member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Mattydale and was past president of its Home Builders Guild. She was a member of Pair-N-Squares Square Dancing Group in Liverpool. She was a member of Young at Heart Senior Citizens group in Cicero and the Wednesday Ladies Luncheon Group in Mattydale. Her husband, Charles C., died in 1980.
Survivors: Three daughters, Shirley Gram of Cicero, Charlotte Pape of Marietta and Carol Kateel of Lake Wales, Fla.; three sisters, Mary Fay of Cicero, Eva Hains of North Syracuse and Beatrice Coir of Mattydale; three brothers, Harold Casolare of Mattydale, Frank Casolare of Largo, Fla., and Charles Casolare of Palm Harbor, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Krueger Funeral Home. Burial, White Chapel Memory Gardens. Calling hours, 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 2619 Brewerton Road, Mattydale. Contributions: Calvary United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 201 E. Molloy Road, Mattydale 13211.
