Eva G. Hains, 93, died Tuesday at Sunnyside Care Center. She was born in Syracuse, was a long time resident of Mattydale before residing with her daughter in Cicero. She was a charter member of Calvary United Methodist Church where she had sung in the choir, played the organ, and was a member of the Guild. Mrs. Hains was predeceased by her husbands, Burr L. Palmer in 1973 and Charles H. Hains in 1994 and by her son, William Palmer in 2005. Surviving are her daughter, Joan (Kenneth) Hayes, of Cicero; a sister, Beatrice Coir, of Syracuse; two brothers, Charles Casolare, of Palm Harbor FL and Harold Casolare, of Liverpool; ten grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will held at Calvary United Methodist Church on Sunday, January 20th at 2 p.m. Private burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. Donations may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 201 East Molloy Road, Mattydale, NY 13211.
