Frank R. Casolare, 82, of Seminole, FL, formerly of Mattydale, died peacefully April 22, 2005. He was a World War II Army Air Force veteran and a longtime member of the American Legion. He was a self-employed painter/contractor. He is survived by his children, Russell Casolare, Gloria (Cliff) Feldman, Betty (Jim) Dennis, William Casolare and Michell (Royal) Pierce; siblings, Eva Hains, Harold Casolare, Beatrice Coir and Charles Casolare; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were private. New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, is entrusted with local arrangements.
