Martin M. Hines, 68, died at 5 a.m. Friday at his home, one mile south of South Charleston on the Jamestown Rd. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday at the residence. Burial will be made in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mr. Hines, who was a native of Pike County, has been a resident of the South Charleston vicinity where he was a prominent farmer for 30 years. He was a member of the United Brethren Church. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Lottie (Charlotte) Hines, four sons, William Hines of South Charleston, (John) Otto Hines of Jeffersonville, Oh., George Hines of Harmony, and (Charles) Edward Hines of Plattsburg, and one daughter, Miss Elizabeth Hines, at home. (He was the son of Christian Hines and Eve Catharine Kuntzman)
