Helen Maran Hoefs, 75, of 314 Sixth street SE, widow of Magnus Hoefs and a Cedar Rapids resident two years, died Sunday.
Born Aug. 20,1889, in Germany, she came to Cedar Rapids from Cleveland, Ohio.
Surviving are four sons, Grovey of Glendale, Calif. Kenneth of Chicago, Clement of Kent, Wash, and Marvel of Minneapolis; four sister, Elsie Reid and Emma Kimball both of Cedar Rapids, Minnie Nelson of Hallock, Minn., and Clara Billie of Northfield, Minn.; three brothers, Otto Kautz of Oronoco, Minn., Alfred Kautz of Whitlock, Tenn., and Arthur Kautz of Hammond, Minn., and seven grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are being completed at the Turner chapel, where friends may call.
