Clara Kautz White Bille was born on May 2, 1901 at Dodge Center, Minn., the daughter of Helmuth and Amelia Kautz.
She was baptized, confirmed and educated at Dodge Center, Minn.
On November 18, 1918 she was united in marriage with Alfred White. The family made their home on a farm just east of Northfield until Mr. White's death in 1937.
On December 2, 1956 Clara married Alfred Bille. They had made their home in Northfield until recently, at which time Mrs. Bille's health required the care of a Nursing Home. It was at this Nursing Home in Faribault that Mrs. Bille passed away on June 15, 1974 at the age of 73.
She is survived by her husband Alfred, four sons: Roy White, Los Angeles, Calif. Alfred White, Lakeville, Minn. Donald White, Northfield and Allen White of Faribault; five daughters: Mrs. Arnold (Katherine) Wachholz of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Robert (Betty ) Henderson, Northfield; Mrs Peter (Ruby) Henderson, Northfield. Miss Charolette White, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Herbert (Marian) Bemis, Waterville, Minn., Also surviving are two brothers: Otto Kautz of Pine Island Minn. and Arthur Kautz, Hammond Minn., two sisters: Mrs. Emma Kimball, Galesburg Ill. and Mrs. Alton (Minnie) Nelson, Hallock Minn. 25 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Bille was preceded in death by her parents,her first husband, one son, Robert White, one daughter, Clara Belle Peper, one grandson, four brothers and two sisters.
