Funeral services of Richard Dunn, 78, Oklahoma City, former Clinton resident, were held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 25, 1974 in the Stanley Funeral Home with Rev. M. L. Stegall officiating. Burial followed in the Clinton Cemetery, under the direction of the Stanley Funeral Home of Clinton. He was a member of St. Luke's Methodist Church in Oklahoma City.
Dunn died Friday morning in Oklahoma City. He moved to a farm west of Clinton in 1906 with his parents and moved to Clinton in 1919. He was the son of Wm. R. and Ethel (Brooks)Dunn. He was married to Lora Lorraine Lamb on Aug. 18, 1927 at Henrietta, TX. To this union was born one son, Robert Ellis. Lorraine passed away on Aug. 15, 1943. He was married to Bess Floy Honeycutt Osborne at Oklahoma City on July 19, 1949. She was the daughter of Lucian and Iola (White) Dunn.
In addition to his wife, Bess, and his son, Robert, of New York City, NY., Mr. Dunn was survived by one sister, Mrs. Ethel McInturff of Arapaho and one brother, Russell Dunn of Clinton and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
