Fred Lamont Dunn was the son of Wm. R. and Ethel B. (Perkins) Dunn. He was born on a farm near Clifton, KS on June 28 1899. As a child he moved to a farm west of Arapaho, Custer County, OK with his father, step-mother, Elizabeth (Perkins) Dunn, and his siblings. It was there that he died as a result of drowning on June 9, 1919.
In addition to his parents, he was survived by his siblings: Russell, Charles, Richard, Vera and Ethel; his grandfather, James A. Dunn and several other relatives. Preceded in death by his mother, an infant brother, Frankie, in 1895 and his grandmother, Anna (Bateman) Dunn, just a month earlier.
