"Funeral services for long-time Fallon resident Dora Orpha Fowler, 95, will be conducted Wednesday, 10 a.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Fallon Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday, 7-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fowler died Feb. 19, 1994 at her Fallon residence of natural causes.
Born April 16, 1898 in Arcadia, Neb. to Marv and Bertha White Parker, she came to Fallon 57 years ago from Texas.
She was a homemaker, ranch wife and member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her husband, Orval F. Fowler Sr. in 1982.
Survivors include son, Orval F. (Sonny) Fowler, Jr. and daughter, Geneva Keefer, both of Fallon; daughters, Edna Penola of Battle Mountain, L. Nora Weaver of Gardnerville, Nena Casper and Bonnie Nance, both of Coqville, Ore..; 19 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in her memory for the Pathfinders or to the Dorcas, in care of Seventh Day Adventist Church, 755 Esmeralda St. Fallon, Nev., 89406."
