Son of Marvin S. and Bertha V.(White) Parker. The family moved from the farm in NE to TX by wagon. Ted could work the cows, horses & farm. He married Bessie A. Smith on April 21, 1924 in Crosbyton TX. In Littlefield TX he worked for the telephone company and mechanic on the side. Two of his children were born there. The third child was born in Portales NM where he worked at a garage there until 1946 when he moved the family to Sahuarita AZ. He was employed by C. Hubbell Trucking and Anaconda Mining Company as diesel mechanic before retiring. At that time they lived in Tucson AZ where he continued to mechanic to fill his time, even learned to work on VW buggies by reading the manual. Very patient, gentle & loving person who his family & friends still miss. Ted could play the harmonica and like family games like cards, dominos and horse shoes. Ted was active in the Farm Bureau in Sahuarita & served on the school board for nine years.
