Florence was the ninth child of Marvin and Bertha Parker.
She married the love of her life, Rev. Oscar Elliott, August 10, 1940, in Clovis, and then moved to Cortez, Colo.
In 1949 they became Christians. In those nine years they had five children.
They moved to Aztec in 1952, where they resided.
Florence lived her life for God and their family.
She is greatly loved and missed by her family.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Oscar Elliott, her sons, Oscar Darrell Elliott, Alfred Jerald Elliott and her son-in-laws, Dale Hockett and Rev. T.J. Taylor Jr.; her parents; five brothers and three sisters.
Florence is survived by her three daughters, Mavis Hockett, Wanda Taylor and Helen Shepard; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Friday, June 15, at Alternative Choice Chapel, in Farmington with James Foster officiating.
Interment will follow at Aztec Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Casey Elliott, Darrell Elliott, Duane Bixler, R.D. Bixler, David Bixler and Michael Hockett
