Frank E. Walters, 78, 201 Westwind Drive, died at 8:45 p.m. yesterday (Oct. 16, 1980) at Woodview Rehabilitation Center afer a brief illness. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard E. Bunnell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon and evening and Monday until the service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Walters was born May 14, 1902, in New Buffalo, Mich., to Frank and Sadie (Moore) Walters. He retired Dec. 1, 1947, after 25 years with the Michigan City Fire Department. On Feb. 24, 1925, here he married Dorothy Wilcox, who is deceased. Surviving is a sister, Helen Arnot, this city. Three brothers and a sister are deceased. Mr. Wilcox was a member of the Brotherhood of Fireman.
