Harold H. Walters, 49, 242 N. Calumet Ave., died yesterday at Hines Veterans Hospital, Hines, Ill., after a six months illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Carlisle Funeral Home with the Rev. Wesley P. Hustad, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in World War II Circle at Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow afternoon and evening and Saturday until the hour of the service. A lifelong resident of the city, Mr. Walters was born here Nov. 22, 1907, the son of Frank J. and Sadie M. Moore Walters. He had been employed as a custodian at the Northern Indiana Public Service Co. generating station for five years. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the First Baptist Church and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1228. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Frank Arnot, this city, and three brothers - Frank F. and Robert, both of this city, and Clarence, Hammond. A sister, Mrs. Frank Grant, died last September.
