Helen M. Arnot, 82, Michigan City, died at 2:35 p.m. yesterday (Jan. 16, 1990) at the Michigan City Health Care Center. The funeral will be at the Carlisle Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the service tomorrow. Mrs. Arnot was born Nov. 22, 1907, in Michigan City, the daughter of Frank and Sadie Moore Walters. On June 16, 1951, in Michigan City , she married Frank Arnot, who died Dec. 27, 1968. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Four brothers and one sister are deceased. Mrs. Arnot was a homemaker and had been a seamstress at the former Royal Metal Company. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Michigan City and a member of the church choir. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the church.
