Died Saturday, Sept. 16, 1995, at her residence in Greenwell Springs. She was 61 and a native of Copiah County, Miss. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. until religious service in the funeral home chapel at 9 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Dennis Johnsey. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie S. and Gary J. Brandt and Judy B. and John F. Sommers, all of Baton Rouge; a son and daughter-in-law, Jackie T. and Cindy Bass, Missouri; five sisters, Eula Lee Strong, Matt Drummond and Earline Welch, all of Mississippi, Hazel Goza, Denham Springs and Betty Culpepper, Baton Rouge; three brothers, Bill Barker, Baton Rouge, L.V. Barker and Ted Barker, both of Mississippi; eight grandchildren, Aaron Leclercq, Gannon Brandt, Cameron Brandt, Brooke Sommers, Bradley Sommers, Bonnie Bass, Chase Bass and Dillon Bass. He was a member of Florida Boulevard Baptist Church.
