Bettie Carolyn Culpepper, 83, was called home to be with her Savior, Friday, September 25, 2015. After working many years in retail, she retired and spent her retirement years working in the church nursery where she loved each and every baby that she came across. A member of Florida Boulevard Baptist Church, she expressed her love of music by singing in the choir and was also a member of the choral group Sweet Adelines. She was never one to sit still and loved gardening and walking her dogs. But more than that, she loved her family with all her heart.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Russell; granddaughter Dawn and husband Hugh Baggett; granddaughter TJ and husband Seth Sitton; grandsons, David Jackson, William Russell, and Matthew Russell; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Baggett, Tristen and Dacee Hensley, and Sammy Russell; sister-in-laws, Anna Barker, and Dorothy Barker; and brother-in-law, Ed Goza; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, David Lee Seals and Leonard Culpepper; parents, Clifton and Lillie Marie Barker; brothers, Riley, Carl Elton, Thomas, Charles, Ted, Bill, and L.V.; sisters, Louise Barker, Yvonne LeBouef, Eula Lee Strong, Mattie Zell Drummond, Hazel Goza, and Earline Welch; infant son, David Michael, and son Terry Seals.
