Robert L. Ramer, 55, Adams, died at his home Thursday [Sept. 22, 1977] of an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Ramer was born in Decatur County Jan. 12, 1922, the son of Cort and Melissa Ramer. He was married to Virginia Ellen Everroad in Shelbyville April 15, 1950, and she survives. He has been a resident of Adams 27 years and was a former employee of the Ralph Klene Pipe Co.
In addition to the widow he is survived by two sons, Gary and Kevin Ramer, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Jackie) Baxter, Adams; two brothers, Millard Ramer, Millhousen and David Ramer, Shelbyville; six sisters, Mrs. Helen Norris, Mrs. Bill (Gladys) Hiles, Mrs. Edna Kohrman and Mrs. Dorothy Hart, all of Greensburg, Mrs. Ruth Fullmer, Batesville and Miss Olive Ramer, who resides in Virginia.; three step-sons, Charles, Larry and Danny Buell, all of Greensburg; four step-daughters, Mrs. Barbara Elliot, Portland. Ore., Mrs. Ralph (Luella) Land and Mrs. Mayburn (Linda) Hatton of Middletown, Ohio, and Mrs. James (Nina) Kessler, Columbus; seven grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home with burial in Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 this evening.
