Gladys M. Hiles, 302 E. 10th St., Skybird Manor, Greensburg, died at 10:11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 1990 at North Lincoln Village, Greensburg.

She was born Nov. 14, 1908 in Decatur County, the daughter of Cortez E. and Anna Stewart Ramer. On Nov. 21, 1926, she married James William Hiles, and he preceded her in death Oct. 9, 1977. She worked with her husband at the Hiles Cleaners and she operated a second hand store before she worked as manager at the Trailways Bus Station in Greensburg, where she retired.

She is survived by three sisters, Edna Kohrman, Greensburg, Mrs. Raymond (Dorothy) Pennington, Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Emmett (Ruth) Federle, Batesville, Ind.; two brothers, Millard Ramer, Greensburg, and David Ramer, Shelbyville, Ind., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Helen Norris, Olive Crapo and two who died in infancy and by two brothers Robert Ramer and one who died in infancy.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, Greensburg, with the Rev. Ken Arnold officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 o 8 p.m. Monday.

Burial will be in the Rossburg Cemetery, Decatur County.
