Born Feb. 24, 1912, in Rover, Mo., to George and Lillie Moore Jolliff, he married Peggy A. Cherry in Pekin on Jan. 2, 1972.
He was an army veteran of World War II and worked in the boiler room at Caterpillar, Inc. for 29 years before retiring in 1979.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, Donald E. of Peoria, Jerry of Arlington, Texas, and Charles E. of Marquette Heights; one stepson, Casey E. Harris of Pekin; two stepdaughters, Trena D. Crum and Sherry K. Nash, both of Peoria; 18 grandchildren; and two sisters, Clara Mustion in the state of Washington, and Evelyn Day in Oregon.
One son, Eulin C. "Tucker" Jolliff, four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Wilton Mortuary, where services will be at noon Wednesday. The Rev. Ron McKee will officiate, and burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
