Clara Etta Mustion, 102, of Longview died Nov. 13, 2009, at the Hospice Care Center.

She was born July 29, 1907, in Alton, Mo., to George and Lilly (Nelson) Jolliff.

Clara married Ray Mustion March 18, 1934. Being a homemaker, Clara stayed very busy raising her family, which she loved very much. She was an avid walker who spent many years walking with Ray around Lake Sacajawea and at the Three Rivers Mall. She loved her exercise routines. Clara also loved her flowers and volunteered many years at local hospitals. She was a member of Valley View Church of God. Clara was a devout Christian and very active in her church. She taught Sunday School and was a prayer warrior.

Survivors include her husband of 75 years, Ray Mustion at home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Calvin and Juanita Mustion, and Jerry and Renee Mustion, all of Longview; a sister, Evelyn Bay of Sutherlin, Ore.; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were a son, Rueben Mustion; and a daughter, Darlene Cutler.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Steele Chapel, 5050 Mt. Solo Road in Longview with Pastor Larry Gee officiating. Private interment will take place at Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Kelso. A viewing will be held from noon to 5 p.m. today at Steele Chapel.

Memorial donations may be made to Valley View Church of God, 1435 33rd Ave., Longview, WA 98632.
