Bertha [Heusinger] Blint was the third of seven daughters of Christian Andreas Heusinger and Katherina Barbara [Krauss] Heusinger. She was born in Coburg, Germany in 1829. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1855 with her Husband, Theodore Blint and her younger sister, Franszeska. Her infant son was born and died during the voyage to America. She also had one daughter, Frances Blint (1858-1943), who married Leo Wagner. Bertha settled in Dayton, Ohio. She is buried along with her husband in Woodland Cemetery.
