Franzeska Albertina [Heusinger] Prass was the fifth of seven daughters of Christian Andreas Heusinger and Katherina Barbara [Krauss] Heusinger. She was born in Coburg, Germany in 1834. Franzeska emigrated with her sister, Bertha [Heusinger] Blint, to New York City in the summer of 1855, then traveling on to Dayton, Ohio, where she married John Peter Prass. The couple had moved to Pitsburg, Darke County, Ohio by 1860, where they stayed until 1871, moving then to Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana, where they lived until 1874. John & Franzeska then returned to Ohio, taking up permanent residence on Main Street in Brookville.
John and Franzeska had 7 children....
