Mr. Jack Bonner, near Stewards Mill has entered the race for County Clerk, and announces this week.

Mr. Jack Bonner and Miss Ella Weaver, of our town, made a visit to friends in Palestine last week and returned last Monday.

Mr. Jack Bonner met with a painful accident this week, near Stewards Mill, resulting in getting his right leg broken in the ankle joint causing a wound that will disable him for probably two months. A rope attached to his horse became twisted around his foot, while standing on the ground, and his horse becoming frightened jerked him down and pulled him against a stump, breaking his ankle. Had the rope not slipped from around his foot it might have been much worse.
