"The Fairfield Recorder" November 15, 1889
Mr. Andrew Bonner, of Stewards Mill, after an attack of Flux for two weeks, died last Sabbath. He was about 28 years old, a steady, sober and industrious young man, and a worthy citizen of our county.
He had many friends who will be sorry to learn of his death. The parents have the sympathy of their many friends in the loss of their son.

STEWARDS MILL SOUNDS

Death of the 10th, again visited our neighborhood, Mr. Andrew Bonner being its victim. He leaves many relatives and friends to mourn his untimely death. Deeply and sincerely do we sympathize with Mr. and Mrs. Bonner in their double affliction, they having buried their little babe only a few days ago. The death of our young friend has indeed cast gloom and sadness over the hearts of our entire community, he being the first missing link in a large circle of young relatives and friends who have known and loved each other since childhood. Yes, our friend has gone from our midst, but in pleasant memories of the past he will ever be remembered, and whilst we grieve for his absence our consolation will be:
"There is a scene where spirits blend,
Where friend holds intercourse with friend;
Though sundered far, by faith we meet
Around one common mercy seat" - REX
