Services Wedn'day For Mrs. Wilson
Funeral services were held at the home at 10 a.m. Wednesday for Mrs. Sarah Jane Wilson, aged resident of Carnegie for the past 20 years. Mrs. Wilson died Monday, July 31 at the age of 86 years, 1 months and 25 days.
Mrs. Wilson, the eldest in a family of 12, was born June 6, 1853 at Sherman, Texas. Her husband and one child preceded her in death. During the long term she has lived in Carnegie she has made her home with her sister, Mrs. Nora Lenox.
Besides Mrs. Lenox, three other sisters, Mrs. N.R. Beach and Mrs. G.H. Bristow of Van Horn, Texas and Mrs. R.M. Phillips of Wichita, Kansas, as well as several nephews and nieces survive.
T.T. Brown, minister of the First Christian church conducted the funeral services and burial was in the Carnegie cemetery. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Baptist church at Georgetown, Texas.
