Blundell Funeral Is Held Tuesday At Local Church
Funeral services for Miss Mary Adeline Blundell were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Christian church with Rev. Wm. E. Harris, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Carnegie cemetery.
Miss Blundell broke her hip several weeks ago and had been hospitalized since. She died late Sunday in the Carnegie hospital.
She was born May 18, 1882, at Denison, Texas. She had been a resident of Carnegie since about resident of Carnegie since about 1918. She became a Christian at an early age and united with the local First Christian church soon after coming here.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lou Shuster, Carnegie; two nieces, Mrs. Blanche Price, Springfield, Ore., and Mrs. Charlotte Jarnigan, Carnegie; one nephew, L.A. Shuster, Carnegie, and several great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Preston Holbrook, Ivan Giles, C.G. Law, George Melton, Laurence Bolen and Walter Johnson
