Beatrice Wooley, 86, of Clovis died Friday at Willow Creek Convalescent Hospital.
Mrs. Wooley was a native of Wharton Creek, Ark. She lived in Modesto for 40 years before moving to Clovis six months ago. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her children, Shirley E. Maples of Modesto, Bernice Osborn of Clovis, A.D. Carter of Fresno, William Carter Jr. of Tacoma, Wash., and Charles H. Carter of Mountain Home, Ark.; brothers, Garner Bolinger and Austin Denton, both of Arkansas; sister, Pearl Steele of Arkansas; and 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Boice Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Clovis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of Central California, 6335 N. Fresno Ave., Fresno 93710.
