Garner B. Bolinger, 95, of Route #5, Box 381, Huntsville, died May 2, 1999 at Meadowview Lodge Nursing Home in Huntsville. He was born May 19, 1903 at Wharton, Arkansas, the son of Denton and Caldonia Dotson Bolinger. He was a former mail carrier and had retired from the Madison County Road and Bridge Department. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Huntsville.

Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Elma Boatright Bolinger of the home; one stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, James M. and Emma Simpson of Huntsville; one brother, Denton Bolinger of Huntsville; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Steele of Huntsville; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 6, at the McBroom Cemetery with Rev. Roy I. Cain officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Pallbearers will be Jerry Bolinger, James Bolinger, Max Bolinger, Rex Bolinger, Phil Bolinger and Junior Bolinger. Honorary pallbearers will be Dwight Steele, Dwayne Steele and Arthur Steele.
