Mrs. Jennie Jewel Steele, 64, died Oct. 12 in the Meadowview Lodge. She was born in this county may 5, 1901, the daughter of Denton and Caldonia Bolinger, and was the widow of the late Harrison Steele.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Lillian Fancher and Mrs. Vera Parson of Huntsville, and Mrs. Wilma Faddis of Fayetteville; five brothers, Newton Bolinger of Bartlesville, Okla., Ted Bolinger of Locust Grove, Okla. and Denton Bolinger & Garner Bolinger of Huntsville, and Mrs. Beatrice Wooley of Pollock Pines, California, 15 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held last Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Brashears Chapel with Rev. Noel Easterling conducting. Burial was in the Whorton Creek cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Dwight Steele, Keith Garton, James Bolinger, Jerry Bolinger, Arthur Steele and Paul Steele.
