Austin Denton Bolinger, age 62 years, well known farmer of the Wharton in a Prairie Grove hospital where he had been for an operation and several weeks treatment. He had been in failing health several months. Funeral service and burial were conducted at Lower Wharton Sunday afternoon, 2:00 o'clock, by Rev. Bert Steele and Rev. Henry Steele, with the Bruce Brashears Undertaking Co. in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bolinger was a native and lifelong resident of the Wharton community. His wife died June 18, 1940. He is survived by five sons, Newton of Pueblo, Colo., Ted of Locust Grove, Okla., Don of Loy and Garner and Denton Jr. of Wharton, and three daughters, Mrs. Homer Carter, Mrs. J. H. Steele and Mrs. Sam Steele of Wharton, also by his mother, Mrs. Dolly Grigg of Grady, N. M., two sisters, Mrs. Stella Smithson of Grady, N. M., and Mrs. Belle Jones of Wharton, and one half-brother, Charlie Burgess of Rule, Ark. There are 22 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
