Floy E. Smith
Floy E. Smith, 80, a resident of Central City except for 21 years of residence in Cedar Rapids and Walker, died Saturday at her home in Central City.
She was born in Central City on July 8, 1892.
She was married to David Hyde in Walker in 1914. Mr. Hyde died in 1940. She was married to Loyd Smith on July 22, 1948, in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert E. Hyde, Shawnee Mission, Kansas; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday at St. Stephen's church in Central City. A wake service will be held Sunday at 8 p.m. at Murdoch's in Central City.
