Rites Saturday for Nettie Satterlee, 81
Nettie Elizabeth Satterlee, 81, a life long resident of Central City area, died Thursday at a Marion nursing home, where she was a patient for three months. She was born March 8, 1886, at Central City. On March 18, 1906, she married Archie Gilchrist, who died in 1925. She again married Elmer E. Satterlee September 13, 1947, she was married to Elmer E. Satterlee at Central City. Mrs. Satterlee was a member of the United Church of Christ of Central City, Iowa.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Rollo Perrine of Blue Earth, Minnesota; two grandchildren; two brothers, George K. Bateman of Marion and Glenn E. Bateman of Winthrop, and two sisters, Mrs. Max DuBois of Independence and Mrs. Lloyd Smith of Central City.
Services: Saturday at 2 p.m. at the United Church of Christ in Central City. The casket will not be opened after ther service. Friends may call at the Murdoch chapel in Central City
