FRANK HENRY KASPER, 70, lifelong resident of this city, died at his home, 419 West Seventh street, Thursday. He had been in failing health for more than a year. He was employed at the Laurel building until ill health forced his retirement. The son of Frank W. Kasper and Sophia Reinhart Kasper, he was born in Muscatine, March 12, 1871 and married Miss Bertha Ladewig on Feb. 17, 1898, at St. Mary's rectory here. He was a member of St. Mary's church. Surviving are his wife, a son, Delmar of Muscatine, a brother, Joseph Kasper, also of Muscatine and five sisters, Mrs. G.H. Meier and Mrs. Ben Schoo, both of Davenport; Mrs. Arthur Bishop of Muscatine; Mrs. Charles Harper of Bayfield, Ia., and Miss Nettie Kasper of Muscatine. His parents and one sister, Mrs. Anna Hess of Davenport, preceded him in death. The body is at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral home and will remain there until rites are on Monday at St. Mary's church. The Rev. Henry Sendbuehler, pastor, will be in charge. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
