Alice H. Arasin
Alice Han Arasin, widow of William Arasin, died this morning at her home on West Lincoln Highway at Rainbow, in the 65th year of her age. She had been in ill health for more than 12 years, and had been confined to her bed for the past week.
Born in Poland, she came to the United States when only 16 years old and had lived in Coatesville and vicinity ever since, and at Rainbow for the past 24 years. She was a member of St. Stanislaus R.C. Church and the Holy Rosary Society.
Mrs. Arasin is survived by ten children; Andrew, of Rainbow; Jennie, wife of August Gregor, Rainbow; Anna, wife of Peter Andrews, Brandamore; Walter, Coatesville; William, Jr., Rainbow; Joseph, at home; Helen, wife of Arpad Kuch, Caln township; Stella, wife of Frank Goetter, Jr., Philadelphia; Leon, at home, and Stephen, or Rainbow; also 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and two brothers, William and Peter Hans, of Hartford, Conn.
The funeral will take place from Archie S. Maclean's Funeral Home, Fifth avenue and Lincoln Highway, on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. Solemn High Mass of Requiem will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus church at 10 o'clock. Interment will be made in St. Stanislaus cemetery. Friends have been invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening.
