William Arasin Jr., of Coatesville
William Arasn Jr., 80, of Coatesville, died Monday, June 12, 1995 at his home.
He was the husband of Sophie Gawrys Arasin, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late William and Alexandra Hanna Arasin.
He retired in 1977 after 40 years of service as a crane operator in the electric furnace at Lukens Steel Co., Coatesville.
He was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman Catholic Church.
He was alsoa member of the Downingtown Country Club, Ingleside Golf Club, the Polish American Club, the Brandywine and WEst End fire companies.
He enjoyed golf, fishing and gardening. IN addition to his wife, he is survived by wo sons, William J. Arasin III of Coatesville and Joseph A. Arasin of Paoli; two brothers, Stephen Arasin of Downingtown and Leon Arasin of Thorndale; two sisters, Jennie Gregor of Coatesville and Anna Andrew of Thorndale, and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 15, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman Catholic Church, 209 W. Lincoln Hwy., Coatesville.
Interment will be in the St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman Catholic Cemetery.
