Mrs. Chandler passed away May 29, 1988 at Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport LA. She was a homemaker and a member of Gibsland First United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Patsy R. Stricklin of Taylor, Mrs. Peggy Hughes of Taylor, and Mrs. Rebecca Cullins of Gibsland; two sons, Donald T. Chandler of Homer and Larry D. Chandler of Quitman; four sisters, Mrs. Truma Sanders of Shreveport, Mrs. Velma Blackwell of Dubach, Mrs. Mac Pace of Calhoun, and Mrs. Cecil Kilpatrick of Arcadia; three brothers, Paul Shaffer of Minden, Jesse Shaffer of Springhill, and Johnny Wilson Shaffer of Cayce, SC; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
