FREMONT — Evan Merild Taylor, 64, Fremont, died July 23, 1985, in a Provo hospital following surgery.
He was born Feb. 16, 1921, Fremont, to David Alvin and Julia Anna Morrell Taylor. He married Verla Mae Edwards, Oct. 8, 1944, Reno, Nev. He was a farmer and rancher; member LDS Church; veteran of World War II.
Suvivors: wife, Fremont; son, daughters, Mrs. Clenn (Evelyn) Okerlund, Lyman; Ted, Loa; Mrs. Gary (Lois) Croman, Chantilly, Va; nine grandchildren; great-grandchild; brothers, sisters, Alvin, Vance, Mrs. Craig (De Ila) Chappell, all Fremont; Don, Bicknell; Mrs. Seth (Anna Dean) Baker, Ontario, Calif.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Fremont Ward chapel where friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Fremont Cemetery by Springer/Turner Funeral Home, Richfield.
