Graveside services for Warren D. Fletcher of Ocilla, formerly of the Pinetta Community, who died December 30, 1979 in Tifton Nursing Home in Tifton after having been transferred there from Veterans Hospital in Dublin for about two weeks. He had been a patient for the last 9 years.
Born March 12, 1896 in Irwin County, Mr. Fletcher was a retired farmer and son of the late James Paulk and Lenora Hutchinson Fletcher. He was a U. S. ARMY VETERAN OF WORLD WAR I and had lived in Irwin County most of his life.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ethel Heider of New Port Richey, FL.; two sisters: Mrs. Alice Dorminy of Fitzgerald and Mrs. I. E. Paulk (Sue) of Willacoochee and a number of nieces and nephews.
