Born March 12, 1896 in Irwin County, Mr. Fletcher was a retired farmer and son of the late James Paulk and Lenora Hutchinson Fletcher. He was a U. S. ARMY VETERAN OF WORLD WAR I and had lived in Irwin County most of his life.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ethel Heider of New Port Richey, FL.; two sisters: Mrs. Alice Dorminy of Fitzgerald and Mrs. I. E. Paulk (Sue) of Willacoochee and a number of nieces and nephews.
