Funeral services were held at Pinetta Church, Wednesday April 19, 1961, for Mrs. J. P. Fletcher, 89, of Willacoochee, Interment was in Fletcher Cemetery.
Mrs. Fletcher passed away following a long illness, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ines Paulk of Willacoochee with whom she had been living.
The deceased was a daughter of B. C. and Nancy McKinney Hutchinson and was born in Tift County, December 22, 1871. She was a charter member of Pinetta Baptist Church and moved to Willacoochee from Irwin County 10 years ago.
Survivors include five sons, Artie Fletcher, Warren Fletcher, Frank Fletcher, Clinton Fletcher and Plemon Fletcher all of Ocilla; two daughters, Mrs. Sue (Ines) Paulk, Willacoochee, Ga. and Mrs. Alice Dorminy, Fitzgerald; one brother: P. L. Hutchinson, Tifton; one sister: Mrs. Willie Sutton of Tifton; twenty-seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
