Funeral services were held for Mr. Clinton (Kidd) Fletcher Tuesday, March 5, 1974 at Pinetta Baptist Church at 4 p.m. Mr. Fletcher died suddenly at his home Monday morning.
The Rev. R. J. Eldridge officiated and burial was in the Pinetta Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Willie Dimsdale, W. T. Sutton, Randy Dill, Frank Fletcher, Jr., Kenneth L. Fletcher and Gene Hunter.
Honorary pallbearers were Earnest Hunter, Elbert Kilgore, Jesse Griffin, J. R. Gibbs, Jr., Herman West, Ed Hayes, Joe T. Fletcher and Huey Fletcher.
Mr. Fletchr was a son of the late J. P. and LaNora Hutchinson Fletcher, born November 21, 1908 in Irwin County. He was a World War II Veteran of the Army, a member of Big Creek Baptist Church and had lived in the community all of his life.
Survivors include a brother, Warren D. Fletcher of the Veterans Hospital in Dublin; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Dorminy of Fitzgerald and Mrs. Susie F. Paulk of Willacoochee.
