Funeral services for Mrs. Evie Anderson Haile, 86, of Gainesboro, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov 16, 1984, in the Anderson Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Joe David Neeley and Bro. Carl Gossett officiating. Burial is to follow is Rash Cemetery in the Antioch Community of Jackson County.
Mrs. Haile died Wednesday Nov. 14, 1984, in the Jackson County Hospital.
A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Haile was the daughter of the late Dillard and Cora Chaffin Anderson and the widow Mr. Willie T. Haile, who died in 1975.
Mrs. Haile was a resident of the Antioch Community and a member of the Antioch Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, Omer Haile of Livingston; one daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Olene) Long of Gainesboro; one step daughter, Mrs Preston (Rozelle) Kirby of Cookeville; two brothers, Johnny Anderson and Clay Anderson of Gainesboro; three sisters, Mrs Ruby Davis and Mrs. Lyda Chaffin of Gainesboro, and Mrs. Liddie Allen of Franklin, Ky.; three grandchildren, Jerry Long adn Mrs. Brenda Cook of Livingston, Tim Long of Cookeville; one step grandchild Kenneth Kirby of Celena; two great-grandchildren; and one step great grandchild.
