Mr. Anderson, age 70, died suddenly at his home Sunday, June 9, 1974, in Westmoreland. He was a native of Jackson County and the son of the late Dillard and Cora B. Chaffin Anderson. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are: his wife Ruby Anderson, Westmoreland; one son, Ray Anderson, Portland; three daughters, Mrs. Odell Bybee, Gainesboro; Mrs. Nelson Yankee and Mrs. Bob Hall, Rt. 3, Westmoreland, two brothers, Johnny W. and Clay Anderson, Rt. 3, Gainesboro; sis sisters, Mrs. Eva Haile, Mrs. Ruby Davis, Mrs. Lydia Chaffin, Gainesboro, Mrs. Lura Gailbreath, Nashville; Mrs. Lydia Allen, Franklin, KY and Mrs. Lorene Brown, Iowa; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
