Funeral services were conducted for Oliver Anderson Tuesday, June 11, at 2:00 p.m., from the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Gossett officiating. Interment was in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson, age 70, died suddenly at his home Sunday, June 9, 1974, in Westmoreland. He was a native of Jackson County and the son of the late Dillard and Cora B. Chaffin Anderson. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are: his wife Ruby Anderson, Westmoreland; one son, Ray Anderson, Portland; three daughters, Mrs. Odell Bybee, Gainesboro; Mrs. Nelson Yankee and Mrs. Bob Hall, Rt. 3, Westmoreland, two brothers, Johnny W. and Clay Anderson, Rt. 3, Gainesboro; sis sisters, Mrs. Eva Haile, Mrs. Ruby Davis, Mrs. Lydia Chaffin, Gainesboro, Mrs. Lura Gailbreath, Nashville; Mrs. Lydia Allen, Franklin, KY and Mrs. Lorene Brown, Iowa; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
