Mrs. Brown was pronounced dead on arrival at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville Friday, December 3, following an extended illness.
A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Dillard P. and Cora Belle Chaffin Anderson and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the late William Litton Brown.
Survivors include two sons, Grover L. Brown, Gaylord, MI and Billy A. Brown, Bensenville, IL; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Eckhart, Des Moines, IA; Two brothers, Johnnie W. Anderson and Clay Anderson, both of Gainesboro; four sisters, Mrs. Evie Haile, Mrs. Lyda Chaffin and Mrs. Ruby Davis, all of Gainesboro and Mrs. Liddie Allen, Franklin, KY; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Anderson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
