Requiem high mass was offered in St. John's Church at Maria Stein Wednesday morning by Rev. Fr. Everistus Olberding for Miss Mary Anna Bergman, 67, who died in St. Rita's hospital at Lima Saturday from an embolish, the day after she was admitted as a patient. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
Miss Bergman was born at Maria Stein September 15, 1878, the daughter of Stephen and Anna Evers Bergman. She lived with a brother, Henry, who survives with other brothers, Frank and John, St. Rose; George, Joseph an Lawrence, Maria Stein, and August, Osgood, and a sister, Mrs. Rose Bergman Meiring, St. Marys.
Miss Bergman was a member of the Young Ladie's Sodality, and she received the last sacrament of the Catholic Church.
