Lola Wells Flowers
Early--Funeral services for Lola Wells Flowers ,94, of Early, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001 at the Early First Baptist Church with the Rev. Carol Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the Jenkins Springs Cemetery in Brown County under the direction of the Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Flowers died Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the Twilight Nursing Home of Bangs. She was born Oct. 25, 1906 in Brown County. She married John Wesley Flowers. She was a homemaker and a member of the Early First Baptist Church. She had been a lifetime resident of Brown County.
Survivors include children Bonnie Armstrong-Jury of Fort Worth and Linda Rush of Bangs; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren;three great-great grandchildren ;and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son Melvin Flowers and several brothers and sisters.
