Delbert Wells,Local Resident 76 Years ,Dies, Funeral Wed.

Delbert Wells,84,2313 Vine ,a resident of Brown County for 76 years,died at 1:30 a.m.today at his home.
Funeral services are to be held at 10 a.m.Wednesday from the Early Baptist Church of which he was a member.Rev.Ed Carson and Rev.Adrian Coleman will officiate.Burial will be in Jenkins Springs Cemetery.
Mr.Wells was born in Green County,Missouri ,Sept.2,1870.He came to Brown County at the age of eight years.He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include the wife,Mrs.Nettie Wells;six sons ,Winfred of Post,Harvey of Irving,Ira,Otto and Elmer of Brownwood and Delbert Wells ,Jr. of Odessa;Four daughters,Mrs.Noble Allgood,Mrs.John Flowers,and Mrs.Merl Price ,all of Brownwood and Mrs.W.H.Robinson of Odessa: 31 grandchildre,21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Davis-Morris Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
