ELMER WELLS, 82

Services for Elmer Wells, 82, of Brownwood will be at 2 p.m. today at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Burial will be at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The Rev. W. P. Wallace is to officiate.
He died at 9 a.m. Friday at Brownwood Regional Hospital. He was a lifetime resident of Brown County.
He was a welder and member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He had lived all his life in Brown County and married Ruth Day at Brownwood Nov. 10, 1933.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Wells of Brownwood; one daughter,Carolyn Castator of Warren, Mich.; four sons, Elmer Nelson Wells of Lubbock, Elton Ray Wells of DeLeon, Reggie A. Wells of Arlington, and Dennis Joe Wells of Fort Worth; two sisters, Vida Robinson of Brownwood and Lola Flowers of Early; one brother, Delbert Wells of Midland; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-granchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Harvey, Ira, Otto, and Winfred, and two sisters, Lorene Price and Sadie Allgood.
