Abraham Lincoln Dotson, age 77, life long resident of the Wharton community, expired at his home on May 2. He was born Nov 12, 1871.
He was married to Hannah Hayden and to this union were born 10 children, nine of whom survive.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Hannah Dotson; three sons, Neal Dotson, Bruce Dotson and Burl Dotson, all of Route 5, Huntsville; six daughters, Mrs. Oshey Perkins, of Wharton; Mrs. Doshey Barker, Route 2, Filer, Idaho; Mrs. Oka Stansell, Route 2, Nortonville, Kans.; Mrs. Dottie Parker, Japton; Mrs. Chloe Bolinger, Route 2, Huntsville; and Mrs. Murl Jones, Wharton; also by 12 grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services in the Wharton community were conducted by Rev. Cecil Garrison, Baptist minister of Huntsville, on May 5. Arrangements were by the Brashears Funeral Home.
