Mrs. Oshey Perkins, 84, of Route 5, Box 415, Huntsville died Jan. 9, 1996, at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Aug. 11, 1911, at Wharton, Ark., the daughter of Abraham Lincoln and Hannah Hayden Dotson. She was a homemaker, a member of the Church of Christ and the widow of Oscar Lee Perkins who preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 1989. She was also preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Alice Irene Jones, and her infant daughter, Jeannie Kay, on Jan. 27, 1964.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Hannah Ellen Goats of Dallas, Tex., Ms. Patricia Helen Perkins of Ozark, and Mrs. Oshey Lee Higginbotham of Seligman, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Betty Ruth Umphry of Rathdrum, Idaho, and Velda Grace Dennis of Huntsville; one stepson, Billy Lee Perkins of Watsonville, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Doshey Barker of Twin Falls, Idaho, Mrs. Oka Stansell of Valley Falls, Kan., Mrs. Dottie Parker and Mrs. Cloe Bolinger, both of Huntsville; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Pat Mannon, minister, officiating. Interment was in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Rodney Wages, Jerry Wages, Earl Higginbotham, Jack Reynolds, Delbert Bolinger and Dean McCoy.
